Hey guys and girls,

I went out to watch Michael Jackson’s This Is It today and have to say it was phenomenal, I am a huge fan of his music but some people had been sceptical about whether rehearsal footage would make a good enough movie. I can say with certainty it is exhilirating and worth watching, you find yourself tapping your foot along to each superb song throughout. The footage shows off Michael’s phenomenal musical genuis and portrays him as the kind-hearted soul I believe him to be. After the movie comes to a close it felt like the sudden sense of realisation fell upon the audience as we all realised that this unbelievable talent is gone forever but he will remain in all of our hearts. There was an air of unease, the audience inhaled its collective breath  and i believe came to the same conclusion, This Is It.

USA have the cheek to call Lockerbie release a “mockery of justice”

504 people dead…26 people charged…1 convicted…these are the stats regarding the My Lai massacre. On that fateful day the US troops stormed into a small village in Vietnam and shot, scalped, mutilated and raped innocent and defenceless civilians. They received no opposing fire that day but managed to kill an estimated 504 people. Upon return from Vietnam just 26 people were charged and only 1 person was convicted, William Calley. How can one man be charged for 504 murders and there be no accountability? To make this worse, Calley was ordered to house arrest just one day after his sentence! Ultimately he served just 3 and a half years for these atrocities. So that is what I call a mockery of justice, where is the justice for the innocent women and children who were shot at point blank range? This is a country which opened guantanamo bay and allowed slavery for hundreds of years!The United States is a country that was founded on hatred, violence and lies so before the FBI chief describes the Lockerbie bombers release as a “mockery of justice” take a look at your own history! Don’t think that I condemn the release, because I completely disagree with it, however I don’t like the hippocracy of the United States in this!

Fifa 10

From my personal experience i have seen a huge divide over the years between PES and FIFA fans, but less than a week into FIFA 10, and i have seen people who previously would give their lives for PES, now converting to FIFA!! Fifa has converted Pro Evolution Soccers martyrs through gameplay refinement. The obvious difference to Fifa users when they boot up Fifa on their ps3 or xbox is the incredible control you have over your player. The 360 degree dribbling is unbelievable; where before you were incredibly restricted by eight way movement, relying on a few tricks and pot luck to take a defender, now you can sense the freedom. Realism has been implemented now unlike in Fifa 09 where a mere push forward of the analog stick with Ronaldo would turn on his superhuman mode. They have not got rid of his talent or others for that matter but they have made it all relative. So long as you’re not sprinting, you can turn quickly in any direction meaning you’re much more likely to create enough space to get away from opposition players or to release the ball. I am so glad to see that EA have worked with the fifa community and answered their crticisms creating a more realistic and balanced game. Chipped through balls have been altered to and are no longer a guarnteed way through a stubborn defense, with the improved defender AI, you have to come up with more realistic ways to put your striker through on goal. Be positive!!!

After recently reading The Secret again i am once again inspired to think positve and enjoy life!! Negative thoughts get you absoloutely nowhere and the secret to life IS to be positive. If you have read the book then you will know what i am refering to and if you haven’t then here is the chance to change your life. I don’t believe in everything the book preaches as i am a realist as well as an optimist but there are key componenents that speak volumes. YOU have the ability to shape your life and future and no one else; transform weakness into strength, ilness into healthyness and negativity into positivity!! I will be blogging much more about this subject but for now i just wanted to inspire someone today, if i have inspired 1 person then i have succeeded. When you wake up you have two options, you can think positively or negatively, choose the right option. Everyone is guilty of waking up and thinking “this day is going to be awful” or a multitude of negative thoughts, and then instantly you have started with negative energy and set the tone for your day. In any walk of life you have two options, a negative one and a positive one and as soon as u start to put yourself under the microscope you will realize how often we as humans think negatively. It seems to be inate or part of our DNA to think negatively but it is maleable, you can change who you are. Take a good positive step today, and have a great day. Who Do You Fancy For The Premier League?

So, the obvious contenders are the “big four”, but with the money Man.city have spent, lets not rule out a huge upset. If we start off with MAnchester United, it is clear that they will miss Cristiano Ronaldo, and Carlos Tevez, and i’m not sure that Owen and Valencia are good enough to fill the void that has been created. Unless Berbatov improves from last seasons performance, then they will have a serious scoring problem. Having said all of this, there is a swagger about Ferguson’s Red Devils and Antonio Valencia is without a doubt a superb player. I believe that only a fool could rule them out of the title race.
Even though i feel Manchester United are a weakened side, they are still a huge threat. However there is no doubt that the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool have a huge chance to take Premier League glory this year. I think that Chelsea are huge contenders this year, they have a fantastic squad, a very strong back four, a great midfield and great strikers in Drogba and Anelka. The only reservation i would have is Carlo Ancelotti; i don’t know if he has what it takes as a manger to cope with the English league. However all in all, you would have good reason to put some money on Chelsea this season. Another obvious contender is Liverpool, they came agonisingly close to the title last season, however with the loss of Xabi Alonso, will they be the same side? I have some reservations for Liverpool as well, for one the lack of strike options after Fernando Torres, and other decisions made by Rafa Benitez. If they can keep Gerrard and Torres fit, they stick a real shot again this season. Arsenal have lost Adebayor and Toure, Rosicky is injured again and have a vastly inexperienced team, and for me, they should concentrate on securing fourth place, because the title is well out of their reach! Finally there is Man.City, they have signed huge talent with Gareth Barry, Carlos Tevez, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor, their team is frightening and IF their tema can gel, there is no reason they can’t challenge for the title. The Premier League may have been overshadowed by La Liga this summer, but with Liverpool,Chelsea,Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Everton, Villa and Tottenham, there is plenty of talent on show! La Liga or Premier League??

For me the Premier League has dominated for the past few years, but with the new signings or Real Madrid and the world class Barcelona lineup i don’t know which is better, time will tell. There is undoubtedly so much talent in the Barcelona and Real teams, but does two teams make a better league? The premiership has four good teams that are constantly challenging in the Champions League so does this make them a stronger league? With the likes of Man.city, Everton and Aston Villa making a fight for fourth place is the Premier league a stronger league? There are many things to consider, and while La Liga has certainly become more glittzy and star-studded, is it, as an overall league, stronger? Can Spain Stop England’s “Big Four” in Champions League?

At current, Barcelona are the undisputed Kings Of Europe after an unbelievable performance in May against the best England had to offer, Manchester United. However it is clear that the English teams have been dominating Europe’s most prestigous trophy for the past 5 years. I just wanted to share a few thoughts with you and ask you whether you think the obscene spending of Real Madrid and the amazing Barcelona side will end the English reign of terror in Europe. The “big four” English clubs, since 2005, have made 10 semi-final appearances between them, and they have each appeared in at least one final. It is an incredible feat achieved by the English clubs which could be put down to the Premiership being the best league in the world or the spending of English clubs as well as other factors. However Real Madrid have certainly levelled the playing field in recent weeks having spent more than the whole of the Premier League. Before this summers transfer market opened, 4 out of the 10 top players in the world played in La Liga, that has now turned to 7 out of 10. But the question is, will this spending and class that Barca and Real possess be enough to stop the English dominance? There has been a huge gulf between La Liga and the Premiership with 3 out of the 4 semi-final spots being taken by English clubs in recent years. This dominance seems increasingly likely to become 2 out of the 4 semi-final spots with Real and Barca looking likely to occupy places in next years semis. However even if this years Champions League final does turn out to be an all Spanish affair, does that necessarily mean that La Liga is better than the Premier League?
